The City Guides project aims to develop and design practical training for the Tourist Guides who work in the cities and to stimulate smaller cities and locations of historical interest to present their history in the right way. This can be achieved through increasing the emphasis on knowledge, development of skills,  improving the quality of presentation and providing guides with more information on local history, architecture, local fortifications, the region, attitudes, etc.

In summary, we aim to establish the following:  

• Training based in area specificity, leading to certification at a recognised level in Europe
• Accreditation and certification by the apropriate authority
