Rainy reunion for trainee tourist guides
A rain-drenched reunion walk through Bath was organised for a group of
trainee tourist guides who took part earlier this year in a European
Union-supported pilot project at Norton Radstock College.

Town guide is going to be examined on skills
Last Saturday on the 14th of April, city guides from Kampen and Zwolle are doing the test of competence for finishing the course that is aimed on further professionalisation for the guide team of the VVV Kampen-Zwolle-Overijssels Vechtdal. The course is set up by the VVV-Landstede Academy as a result of the international project City Guides, where the VVV together with Landstede is taking part in. | read more
Museum and College join forces to train guides
Radstock Museum is to play a key role in a new European Union-backed pilot project aimed at providing free training for people who want to become professional tourist guides. | read more
First classes take off
Soon the first pilot training is taken off in the view of the project City Guides.
In February they start in Zwolle and Bath with a short practical course for experienced as well as young city guides.
