The St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo in Bulgaria is a scientific institute. The faculty of Computer Systems and Technologies ikn close collaboration with the department of Tourism gives a surplus value to the project and in special to stimulate the e-learning part which may give extra possibilities for students (in adult education).
Implementation of the results of the project is ensured by the need of the department Tourism which is also showed by the tasks to be fulfilled.
Not only the quality of the faculties as such is important for the implementation of the interim and final results, but also the possibility to engage students in the execution of this project and the co-operation with other project-students. It forms at the same time a test case by the development of educational profile for guides and co-operation of our students with the students from partner organisations will be stimulated (exchange of ethnic / cultural information).
The UVT has already worked with some of the other partners in this project and UVT has showed to be able to fulfil the tasks and to be able to co-operate. The experiences with validation and recognition will be applied in this project.
The experience with ICT and the relation with the tourism sector of UVT are important to develop the internet based facilities for students (e-learning module, etc.).
